A party two decades in the making, Third Coast Percussion (TCP)—along with over 20 different artists, performers, and ensembles—took over the Epiphany Center for the Arts for Rhythm Fest, an all-day, one-of-a-kind event celebrating TCP’s 20th anniversary season. The event featured interactive events and installations, artwork, and performances and sets by Jlin, Clarice Assad, Michael Burritt, and many more. Bark built the Rhythm Fest brand and materials to help set the stage for this momentous event.
Inspired by neighborhood and street fests, the identity features collaged percussion instruments and color waves, reverberating energy across the various social applications and other materials.
To spread the word about Rhythm Fest and the artists, event posters were put up around Chicago, and fans and supporters of TCP and the artists were sent postcards inviting them to the celebration.
To keep track of the Fest's schedule and event details, and to learn about the performers and all things Third Coast Percussion, a digital program was designed to be viewed on attendees’ phones.
To commemorate Rhythm Fest, Bark designed specialty merchandise including event posters, magnets, custom Vic Firth drumsticks, t-shirts, and more. VIP-ticketed guests also received posters signed by TCP ensemble members.
