Amplify AAPI Research Panel Brand

NORC at the University of Chicago is a nonpartisan research organization that delivers insight and analysis to government, corporate, and nonprofit clients around the world to inform the critical decisions facing society. Bark partnered with NORC to build a brand and materials for Amplify AAPI, the first-ever research panel designed to scientifically represent Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities. These efforts provide trusted data on the needs, opinions and experiences of the AANHPI communities.

Identity, Tagline and Guidelines

A friendly and approachable logomark was created, representing the diversity of community, individual voices coming together to amplify the community, along with a color system that evokes positivity, optimism and renewal. The tagline, Inclusion, Insight, Impact—translated into 5 languages—establishes the research efforts for this fastest-growing minority community in the United States.

To help strengthen collective communications, brand guidelines outline usage for the logomark, primary logo, the logo with tagline, typography, colors, gradients and patterns, and photography style.

Custom Iconography

Illustrative iconography was developed to assist communications throughout all materials.

Direct Mail Campaign

Postcards were developed in multiple languages and included unique user PINs for individuals to register and share their voices.

Collateral Materials

In order to bring AANHPI voices to the forefront, a series of materials were designed to share research opportunities with government, academia, public sector, private enterprise and communities.

Customized research data is able to provide countless insights through thousands of interviews conducted in multiple languages.

Websites

Public- and member-facing websites were created for Amplify. The public site provides information on how to become part of the research, while the member-facing site is for individuals to keep track of their progress.

Email Communications

From initial enrollment in the research project, through next steps and individual progress, a series of email correspondence was developed to communicate with participants.

Social Media Posts

To build awareness of the research efforts, social media posts were designed to help inform the community.

Overview Deck

A presentation deck was created to build awareness of the 20 million+ Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander voices and opinions in the U.S. Companies and organizations can access data to better provide AANHPI communities with equal access to social services, programs and goods, as well as to prevent discrimination and disparities in healthcare prevention, treatment, and care.
