One of the many member benefits at the Field Museum is In The Field, a member-exclusive magazine published three times a year. The magazine showcases current and upcoming exhibits, collections, introductions to the people behind the scenes, member opportunities, and more, letting members peek behind the scenes. Since 2018, Bark has been designing the magazine and helping the Museum share an in-depth look at everything in the Field.
From bones to bats to ceremonial dragons, the magazine’s cover highlights one of the featured articles from each issue.
Feature articles are designed to show members the breadth of work that goes into public exhibitions, research, and discovery.
The Field’s work is not limited to fossils and other specimens. Whether it’s uniting generations along Chicago’s lakefront, formally protecting 29.2 million acres of the Amazon, or celebrating long legacies of artistry and bravery, In the Field showcases the Museum’s local and global reach.
Prehistoric discoveries and the future of our evolving species can all be found In The Field.
