State of Chicago Youth Virtual Town Hall Materials
Who knows the State of Chicago Youth better than our city’s youth? Mikva Challenge empowers young people to use their voices to serve their communities. Together, with A Better Chicago, the first-ever SOCY (State Of Chicago Youth) virtual town hall was hosted over the summer.
We worked with Mikva Challenge and A Better Chicago to create an event identity and materials that unveiled a suite of policy recommendations focused on health, education, juvenile justice, housing, and safety/policing.

Identity
The SOCY identity represents the different youth councils coming together to make change in our communities. 110 youth council members came together to present their recommendations and help create a path forward for our communities. The magnitude of their work deserved a bold brand that reflected their passion.
Social Media Assets
Email and social media assets were developed to get the word out about the town hall. The event was free, however attendees were required to register in advance. Invites, calls to action, and reminders were sent to encourage attendance.
Presentation and Promotional Materials
Branded presentation templates were designed along with promotional materials to boost the importance of the youth’s work.
