Choose Your Future Website

Since 2009, we’ve worked with Chicago Public Schools (CPS) on the website chooseyourfuture.org. The site provides 100,000+ students with resources they need to plan a successful path to graduation and post-high school success.

The website is large and complex, and is used by a highly diverse audience. To provide a more intuitive user experience, the site architecture focused on three main college and career pathways. In doing so, users can quickly navigate to the most appropriate content.

A clean interface and subtle use of brand colors provide unexpected pops of color that keep the user engaged and helps to organize the large amount of content contained within the site.

We designed the website with both internal and external users in mind. Quick links and news sections for Career & Technical Education, Computer Science for All, and Early College STEM Schools drive external users into appropriate content. For internal users, we deployed a user-friendly content management system (CMS) so that each department or content owner could manage their own content throughout the site.
